After waiting semi-patiently through the day of rain yesterday, the snow the kids had been waiting for finally arrived around 6:00 last night. They were bouncing off the walls so we sent them out to play in the dark, and then bright and early this morning we headed out for sledding, snow ball fights, and snowman building. The sledding was a little tough due to the lack of a proper sledding hill, but we did out best. By lunch there was mostly slush, and I felt like I was walking through hot springs in Iceland with all of the steam coming off of the roads. Now we are snuggled in, drinking hot cocoa and watching Rambo for the 1,827,000 time. It sure was fun while it lasted!
